Some of my best work yet. This was shot at a beautiful old church in MA using a Canon HV20 and a tripod.

I read someone's review, which spurred me to see the actual video. This was lovely. Some of the shots are really unique and dynamic. Nice work.

Clarence,

I agree with Will. The shots were beautifully done. The angles, composition and a lot of moving shots. How did you do those moving shots by the way.

I did think that the blacks were a bit too crushed. Shadows details were completely lost.

But the HV20 sure produces some great loking images.

Exactly!
Exactly, it's some of the moving shots that really connected with me. There is one where we're right next to the church, looking straight up the wall to the roof - very nice angle! Then, we slide gently into a doorway, dropping us into darkness. Lovely!

You do a good job of keeping noise out of the black areas. Any advice on how you did that?

Great moving shots.

How did you make the shots so fluently moving? Did you use a shoulder mount to avoid camera shake? Are you a surgeon?

This is a fine testimony that the shooter ability comes first, and the gear second. I know a lot of examples of productions with a lot less quality with far better gear and cams.
Blacks are very compressed, indeed - not my particular taste, but it wirks for the mood, especially in the early shots.
Nicely done.
