70mm DOF Adapter Test

This is the first test of a DIY 70mm DOF adapter. It uses a spinning GG cut from a large glass focus screen. Except for the Mamiya 80mm lens used in this test, the total cost was about $60.
You'll notice that the CA (Chromatic Aberration) is pretty bad. This is probably attributed to the cheap $5 macro lens I used for an achromat. A quality achromat or perhaps adding a PCX condenser lens would solve the problem. A higher quality GG would also help with edge-to-edge sharpness.
